Tips

Look: Don’t tell me that alcohol rehab is hard. Don’t tell me that you’re daunted by the prospect of the alcohol rehab process, or scared by the thought of an alcohol rehab center. Don’t tell me that alcohol rehabilitation seems like an impossible dream, an unclimbable mountain, because I know:

I’ve been there. I’ve done it. I know that alcohol rehab ain’t easy.

I also know it’s the most important thing you’ll ever do.

Alcohol rehab and alcohol treatment save lives. As melodramatic as it might sound, there’s no other way to put it: The care you get at an alcohol rehab center can be the difference between a fresh start on one hand or a bitter end on the other.

And so we’re clear: No one beats alcoholism by himself. If you’re going to get better, you’ve got to get help. For your own sake, don’t try to fight the battle alone. Alcohol rehab really can work, but only if you want it to, and only if you let. The bottom line: If you’re trying to overcome an alcohol addiction, you need alcohol treatment.

I know. I’ve been there. And, please: Take my word for it. It’s not a lesson you can afford to learn the hard way.
