In some ways, the answer is “too many.” Of course, choice always benefits the consumer, and the sheer number of Southern California rehabs guarantees that you can find an addiction treatment program that’s right for you. That’s the good news. The bad news is that not all Los Angeles drug addiction treatment centers live up to their promises. Some really can help their patients get where they need to go. Some can’t. The difference, for you, is as important as any in the world.

Too many prospective Los Angeles rehab patients make the mistake of assuming that all drug addiction treatment centers must be more or less the same. They aren’t. Not even close actually. I called a rehab center for a phone appointment about how I could cope with my boyfriend’s drug addiction. When I called, I broke down and told them everything. At first, it was horrible but then I realized how loving and helpful they were. It was my first experience with a drug rehab and I have to tell you it was wonderful. I learned so much about his drug addiction. The next day I drove him from Los Angeles out to Malibu and checked him in. When we got there I met the same person I talked to on the phone, she hugged me, and then we got a tour of the most amazing facility. This rehab truly is a high-end residential drug treatment facility. Now, three months later, I am happy to report that the drug rehabilitation worked! He (to my knowledge anyway) hasn’t gotten high since. He also surrendered a burden that had been obsessing all his thoughts, and he had been using drugs to numb his discouragement rather than face it. Now I have back the person that I’m in love with. I want to thank the entire staff at my rehab you for being there to help. It removed the adversarial role I had in trying to “get him to quit”. And he could focus on what he wanted instead — a loving relationship and personal freedom.

What did you say about drug rehab centers? I’m just asking because I went to one of those drug rehab centers that you speak of. Yeah., I’m not too keen on the fact that I had to go to one, but it is what it is. The fact of the matter is that drug rehab really did me some good. Having an addiction to drugs isn’t fun at all. It destroys your life, social obligations, your career, and the lives of the people around you. The worst part about drug addiction is that it is an addiction. Anyone who nows anything about addictions knows that they can sink into your psyche and latch on with the sharpest of talons. It’s more than just having a “monkey on your back”. You can swear up and down that you are going to make things better, but if you don’t get the proper help that getting back to sobriety requires you could ruin your life forever. Drug rehab centers give drug addicts the real assistance that recovery takes and they make it a possibility for anyone. Yeah, so if you’re talking smack about drug rehab centers make sure you know what you’re talking about

People make mistakes. It’s just a fact of life. Making mistakes no matter how big or how many times is a part of being human. A lot of people forget how much making mistakes plays a part in the growth of a person and how important it is to admit to making them and moving on. My mistake was getting hooked on drugs. It’s a common mistake. Thousands of cats everyday fall victim to the ills of drug abuse and drug addiction. It happens. The problem is that a lot of the people who get hooked on drugs try so hard to hide their mistakes and never seek out the help that rehab centers can offer. Rehab centers are filled with people who have strayed from the path a bit, but are desperately seeking to reconnect with their lives. They are there facing their problems face to face and they are not backing down from the problems that come with that task. Rehab centers make people like us stronger and stronger everyday by giving us the tools to combat our illnesses and come back to reality. It’s a great feeling. Mistakes are made all the time by everyone, but it is what you do to remedy the situation that matters.
